Keystone Species of the City

Between 2024 and 2025, I collaborated on an artistic project to increase the green space in HKU Oudenoord called Keystone Species of the city (2025). The project focuses on turning an unused area of a university parking lot into an ecological space where other species can thrive, while also becoming an educational space for the future generation of HKU students. My biggest contribution was creating an ecological illustration that explores humans as “keystone species”, which is capable of creating change in the urban environment to allow other species to thrive.
